Welcome to Buhongwa College of Health and Allied Sciences (BUCOHAS), where we are committed to helping you build the bright future you deserve. BUCOHAS is a college dedicated to providing quality education and training in health and allied sciences. The College is fully accredited by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) under Registration Number REG/HAS/263. The College provides quality education and training in health and allied sciences in accordance with the requirements of the National Technical Awards (NTA) system and the regulatory frameworks established by NACTVET.
Our College follows the National Technical Awards (NTA) system under the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) and guidelines from the Ministry of Health and respective Professional Councils.

Basic Technician Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Qualifications: Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with minimum of five passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language
Technician Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Qualifications: Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with minimum of five passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language
Ordinary Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Qualifications: Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with minimum of five passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language OR Holder of Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Upgrading 1 year)
Ordinary Diploma in Clinical Nutrition
Qualifications: Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry, Biology, Basic Mathematics and English Language OR Holder of Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Clinical Nutrition (Upgrading 1 year)
Ordinary Diploma in Social Work
Qualifications: Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects OR Holder of Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Social Work (Upgrading 1 year)
